Description
The Stockton Port District is soliciting an indefinite-quantity Job Order Contract for marine construction and related civil site work at locations and facilities under the Port's jurisdiction. The contract may cover small- to medium-sized repair and rehabilitation projects, replacement-in-kind work, minor new construction, sewer rehabilitation, utilities, concrete, paving, earthwork, fencing, and other marine and civil construction. Work may be performed through individual Job Orders using a Construction Task Catalog and three competitively proposed adjustment factors for normal working hours, other-than-normal working hours, and non-prepriced tasks. Contractors must hold a California Class A General Engineering Contractor license, comply with Transportation Worker Identification Credential requirements for personnel present at the maritime facility, and meet specified self-performance requirements, including at least 51 percent of civil site work and marine labor hours. The contract has a three-year base term and two one-year bilateral option terms. The estimated annual value across all awarded contractors is $10,000,000, but the Port does not guarantee that amount or any minimum volume of work. Bidders must submit the required bid forms, bid security, registration and safety information, non-collusion affidavit, and bidder certifications; a mandatory pre-bid conference is required.
