Description
The U.S. Navy's NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support is soliciting preformed packing materials classified under packing and gasket materials and gasket, packing, and sealing device manufacturing. The procurement includes fixed-price supply requirements, inspection and acceptance provisions, shelf-life-sensitive material requiring fresh shelf-life dates, and FOB-destination delivery. Suppliers must review the applicable Individual Repair Part Ordering Data (IRPOD), comply with referenced technical documents and specified revisions, meet applicable packaging, packing, marking, cleanliness-control, and quality-assurance requirements, and provide applicable vendor-certified reports of test and inspection and cure-date certificates. Authorization to ship material must be obtained from the contracting officer. The solicitation states that the material requirement is a total small-business set-aside and that IRPOD review is mandatory.
