Description
The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), in collaboration with its marketplace manager, The Applied Research Institute (ARI), is launching a long-term initiative called the Expedited Research Innovation System (ERIS). This program is an open call for new and innovative technology solutions that will support DARPA in advancing research, development, prototyping, experimentation, and adoption of disruptive technologies relevant to its mission. DARPA is specifically looking for solutions or capabilities that offer breakthrough technological advancements or novel applications. ERIS functions as a digital environment where post-competition video pitches of assessed technologies are available. These technologies have undergone competitive procedures that meet or exceed the requirements of 10 USC 4021, 10 USC 4022, and 10 USC 4023, making them readily available for procurement by Department of Defense activities through appropriate Other Transaction Authority pathways. The ERIS marketplace allows government organizations to search, view, review, compare, contact, negotiate, and procure these breakthrough technologies and capabilities. For industry, academia, and individual developers, ERIS serves as a platform to promote revolutionary technologies and research to DARPA via a rapid acquisition process.
