South Euclid-Lyndhurst School District is soliciting proposals for Category One wide-area network services for eight sites. The requested scope includes 48 fiber strands of leased dark fiber; eight leased lit-fiber connections with capacities from 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps; eight units of Category One maintenance and operations; eight standalone data transmission services; and eight Internet access and data transmission services, all with 10 Gbps to 100 Gbps capacity. Installation and initial configuration are indicated for the requested services. One included pre-kindergarten site is not eligible for E-Rate funding in Ohio. Bidders must price that site separately so the District can exclude its cost from any funding request. Price is the primary evaluation factor, and the District will apply applicable Ohio procurement requirements, Board of Education policies, and FCC E-Rate competitive-bidding rules.
