Description
The U.S. Air Force is soliciting a firm-fixed-price quote for one Delta H Defender Series dual-chamber aerospace heat-treating furnace system, or equal, for heat treating precipitation-hardening stainless steel, titanium, and ferrous alloys. The system must include independently operated radiant chambers rated to 2,000°F, specified certified work volumes, Class 3 temperature uniformity, gas-flow controls and alarms, Eurotherm instrumentation, AMS2750H process-monitoring software, Type C instrumentation, safety interlocks, and compatibility with 480V, three-phase, 60 Hz service. The requirement also includes a roll-away oil quench tank and automated agitator, sensors and consumables with three-year support, turnkey installation and commissioning, AMS2750H calibration and temperature-uniformity certification, on-site operational and maintenance training, IUID tagging, technical manuals and schematics, calibration records, specialized rigging, and inside delivery. Quotes must provide technical literature, a salient-characteristics compliance matrix, equal-product substantiation when applicable, a two-year warranty and support plan, completed pricing for CLINs 0001–0007, administrative information, and representations and certifications. Award will be based on technical acceptability and total evaluated price.
