Onondaga-Cortland-Madison BOCES, through the Central New York Regional Information Center (CNYRIC), is soliciting bids for Ethernet wide-area-network and telecommunications services for participating BOCES and approximately 50 component school districts. The scope includes 1,296 fiber strands of leased dark fiber, 114 leased lit-fiber connections with capacities from 1 Gbps to 25 Gbps, and four internet access/data transmission connections with capacities from 10 Gbps to 50 Gbps. Services include installation and initial configuration, Ethernet ring-topology connectivity, compatible single-mode or multimode fiber interfaces, a public /29 IPv4 network, BGP enablement with the current CNYRIC autonomous system, and disclosure of upstream internet providers and peering locations. Optional pricing may be provided for always-on DDoS/cloud-scrubbing services covering the CNYRIC 170.158.0.0/16 subnet. The response sheet identifies service commencement on July 1, 2027, with monthly recurring pricing periods extending through June 30, 2030, and June 30, 2032.
