Description
Volusia County is soliciting bids for HDPE pipe and fittings to support a leachate collection system. The scope includes solid-wall and smooth-wall corrugated HDPE pipe, in non-perforated and perforated configurations, along with fittings and other materials listed in the pricing proposal. Solid-wall pipe must generally meet SDR 17, PE 3408, ASTM, and specified carbon-black requirements; perforated pipe must be factory drilled to specified hole diameter, spacing, and row configuration. Corrugated pipe must meet the specified ASTM and AASHTO requirements, with couplings and neoprene gaskets where applicable. Approved manufacturers include Driscopipe, Plexco, and ADS, Inc. N-12 Landfill Grade, or approved equivalents. Bidders must complete the electronic pricing proposal, provide delivery within two business days after a County order, and submit the required solicitation forms and certifications. The agreement has an initial three-year term with two optional one-year renewals. Required insurance includes workers' compensation, commercial general liability, and automobile liability, with specified limits and County additional-insured and waiver-of-subrogation provisions.
