Description
Pittsylvania County and the Town of Hurt are soliciting professional engineering and architectural services for the recommissioning and improvement of the existing SVMP Water Treatment Plant serving the Southern Virginia Multimodal Park and Town of Hurt water customers. The scope includes site and system assessments, alternatives analysis, water-demand evaluation, preliminary engineering reports, lifecycle cost comparisons, and recommendations for the treatment process. The selected consultant will provide civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, instrumentation, SCADA, cybersecurity, permitting, regulatory-compliance, cost-estimating, procurement, bidding, construction-administration, site-observation, commissioning, project-management, as-built, reporting, and federal grant-compliance services. Proposals must address the firm's qualifications, relevant EDA grant experience, approach, workload, proposed team and subcontractors, completed projects, personnel resumes, references, and project timetable. Cost is excluded from the initial proposal and may be requested during shortlisting and interviews.
