Description
Brazosport Independent School District is soliciting proposals from qualified local service providers for dedicated Internet access and fiber optic transport services. The required service is a 10–20 Gbps Internet access port and fiber-based transport from the provider’s point of presence to the Brazosport Technology Resource Center and other district locations, with installation and initial configuration available by July 1, 2027. Cable or wiring modifications beyond the provider’s point of demarcation are excluded. The proposal must address optical interconnection, BGP peering with IPv4 and IPv6 default and full routes, guaranteed bandwidth, availability, packet loss and latency, 24/7/365 network management, billing, support, redundancy, peering relationships, DDoS services, and implementation. Respondents must provide pricing for a three-year agreement with two optional one-year extensions, along with service-level agreements, implementation and circuit maps, an Internet service contract, references, a sample invoice, and required provider information. The solicitation requires sealed hard-copy and electronic submissions, and includes insurance, compliance, and proposal-acknowledgment requirements.
