Description
The New York City Department of Education (NYCDOE), on behalf of the Office of School Wellness Programs (OSWP), is seeking proposals from experienced organizations to provide new or existing supplemental wellness-related services or programs for students, staff, and families. These services and programs must align with the School Wellness Scorecard categories, including Physical Education, Health Education, Physical Activity, School Environment, and Community Wellness Services. The goal is to build capacity within schools to ensure the sustainability of these efforts after programming concludes. The specific services requested include direct student support and program sustainability development for physical education and health education, supplemental health education and/or physical activity wellness programming, and professional development for school staff and the whole school community on health education, physical activity, and other wellness topics.
