Description
The Town of Herndon is seeking qualified firms with experienced, licensed operators to provide labor, snow-removal equipment, fuel, tools, parts, supplies, and related incidentals for as-needed snow removal and ice control on Town-maintained primary, secondary, and subdivision roads. Required resources include dump trucks, plow-equipped trucks, loaders, backhoes, skid loaders, ATVs or UTVs with plows, walk-behind snow blowers, and supervisor vehicles. The Town will furnish salt, liquid chlorides, brine, and abrasives. No subcontractors are allowed. The contract has an initial one-year term with four one-year renewal options, for a maximum of five consecutive years. Bids must be submitted electronically through OpenGov, and the bidder must upload the Bid Form, Vendor Qualification/Equipment Inventory Certification, Contractor's License Requirement, Contractor Certification Form, References, State Corporation Commission form, and Business, Professional and Occupational License form. Each uploaded document requires a wet-ink signature where specified in the solicitation.
