Description
The U.S. Air Force requires a contractor to furnish and install three new physical access control systems for controlled doors in Building 724 at Columbus Air Force Base. The scope includes access-control controllers and management software, CAC/PIV-compatible contactless credential readers, electrified locking hardware, door-position monitoring, power supplies, relays, cabling, programming, testing, and related installation work. Magnetic locks are prohibited, and the system must operate independently of the internet and local network. Two double-door entrances must include video intercom door stations with two-way audio, video monitoring, and remote release of the active door leaf; the single-door entrance does not require an intercom. The system must support up to 200 users, maintain an audit trail, meet applicable FIPS 201/FICAM and PIT requirements, and support alternative credentials approved by the Contracting Officer. The contractor must provide three emergency PIV cards, documentation, training for designated personnel, a project plan, licensing, a one-year warranty, acceptance testing, and proof of licensing and insurance. Contractors must complete CUI training and return the required acknowledgment to obtain access to controlled drawings and related documentation.
