Description
The Bureau of Land Management requires two new snowmobiles equal to or better than a Ski-Doo Skandic WT 900 ACE. Required characteristics include a liquid-cooled four-stroke DOHC engine with at least 95 horsepower, approximately 899 cc displacement, electronic fuel injection, electric start, reverse, specified suspension and track configurations, heavy-duty front and rear bumpers with hitch receiver, heated throttle and grips, and other listed equipment. The snowmobiles must support transportation of up to 1,000 pounds of field gear and have identical specifications for operational reliability in remote field conditions. Quotations must include valuations for three used government snowmobiles and subtract those trade-in values from the total purchase price. The government anticipates a single firm-fixed-price contract and will evaluate quotations using lowest-price technically acceptable criteria. Delivery is required on or before March 31, 2027.
