Description
Montgomery County is seeking a qualified arts consulting firm to support the Wheaton and Silver Spring Arts and Entertainment Districts. Services include identifying and pursuing grant opportunities; drafting grant applications and providing compliance support; planning, coordinating, staffing, and managing arts-focused events; artist selection and management; strategic planning; marketing and media outreach; public-space activation; community engagement; partnership development; and related arts consulting for County departments and agencies. Offerors must demonstrate experience with Arts and Entertainment Districts or similar cultural and economic development initiatives, Arts and Entertainment District designation or redesignation applications, and at least five years of planning and executing large-scale public events with attendance of 5,000 or more. The contract has a one-year initial term with two one-year renewal options and uses a requirements-type structure with no guaranteed minimum assignments or payment. The solicitation is reserved for eligible local small businesses registered or timely applying for Montgomery County's Local Small Business Reserve Program.
