Description
The project involves improvements to the intersection of Holbrook Campground Road and Midway Road in Cherokee County, Georgia. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services for roadway widening and grading; aggregate base; recycled asphalt concrete paving, leveling, patching, milling, and tack coat; concrete driveways, sidewalk, median, and curb; storm drainage pipe, inlets, manholes, flared end sections, riprap, and filter fabric; utility coordination; driveway and fence restoration; and maintenance of access and traffic during construction. The scope also includes temporary and permanent erosion and sedimentation controls, water-quality monitoring and inspections, traffic control, highway signs and supports, thermoplastic pavement markings, arrows, yield lines, and raised pavement markers. Work must comply with Georgia Department of Transportation standards and specifications. The contract time is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, and the bid requires a 5% proposal guarantee. Required submission materials include the signed bid and pricing forms, applicable Cherokee County appendices and certifications, GDOT certification, certificate of insurance, bid bond, bonding-capacity certification, contractor qualification materials, and the completed Bid Items Schedule.
