Description
The U.S. Department of Agriculture is seeking a sole-source, brand-name Steris Power Pack Electric Steam Generator, Part No. CH13861, to replace a failed generator supporting four Steris autoclaves at the National Science Laboratories in Gastonia. The replacement must be compatible with the existing system, use the current water, power, and discharge lines, operate at 150 kW, and produce 476.3 pounds of steam per hour. The contractor must disconnect, remove, and properly dispose of the existing Steris Power Pack Electric Steam Boiler, Part No. CH13-861-500; install and connect the replacement unit; test the system; and clean the installation area of resulting debris.
