Description
The City of Kenner is soliciting sealed bids for 14 integrated night vision and target acquisition systems. Each system must include a dual-tube articulating binocular housing, Generation 3 unfilmed white-phosphor image intensifier tubes with a minimum 2160 figure of merit, lightweight optical assemblies, and an integrated external-power configuration. Each system must also include a compact tactical laser aiming subsystem with co-aligned visible and infrared emitters, specified wavelength and power ranges, adjustable illuminator divergence, Picatinny rail mounting, and defined boresight retention. Required accessories include a padded NVG storage pouch or equivalent case, a Night Vision Retention Device bungee kit, two daylight covers, and a dual-lead remote tactical pressure switch. The agreement amount will not exceed $200,000.00; insurance is expressly stated to be not applicable.
