Description
Tazewell County is soliciting a complete parking lot expansion project for the TCRC, Inc./We Care rural public transportation facility. The work includes site preparation and grading; excavation and earthwork; aggregate base installation; asphalt paving; drainage improvements, including storm sewer, silt fencing, and inlet protection; pavement striping and markings; signage; site restoration and seeding; and all related incidental work. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, permits, and incidentals. The bid packet requires a completed cost and fee proposal, at least three references from comparable projects, a subcontractor listing, and a non-collusion and certification of eligibility affidavit. A bid bond of at least 5% of the total bid amount is required. The project is subject to applicable federal, state, and local requirements, including EEO, Title VI, ADA, prevailing wage requirements where applicable, OSHA, DBE requirements where applicable, and FTA requirements.
