Description
Millington Municipal School District is soliciting bids from licensed Tennessee contractors for general maintenance projects and related supplies. Scope categories include carpentry; concrete and asphalt repairs; fencing; flooring; landscaping; masonry; HVAC, plumbing, and pipefitting; painting and painting supplies; parking-lot striping and stenciling; plumbing repairs; and other maintenance-related services. Contractors must provide labor, respond to emergency requests 24 hours per day, seven days per week, and generally resolve emergency issues within 24 hours. Materials are to be supplied by the contractor unless otherwise specified, with pricing submitted by category and labor classification on the provided bid sheet. The District may award multiple contracts and does not guarantee a contract amount. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027, through December 31, 2027, with up to four additional one-year renewals by mutual written agreement. Bidders must submit the completed bid sheet and required certifications and affidavits, including notarized hold-harmless and non-collusion documents. Three references are required for each category bid. Successful bidders must maintain specified insurance, provide required licensing information, and may be required to furnish a 100% performance, materials, and labor bond.
