The City of Allentown is seeking a list of qualified hotels to provide temporary relocation for families displaced due to the City's Lead Program. The relocation process will be managed by the Program Manager. Initially, families will be asked to stay with friends or family. If this is not feasible, the City will arrange hotel accommodations. Key requirements for the hotels include being located within ten miles of the family's dwelling and providing adequately furnished units with amenities such as bedding and a television. Lead abatement projects typically last between ten to fifteen days. Responses must be mailed or hand-delivered to the City of Allentown's Purchasing Office at 435 Hamilton Street, Room 234, Allentown, PA 18101. Faxed or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
