Description
Scott County School District 1 is soliciting proposals for symmetrical internet access and data transmission services with guaranteed throughput, starting at approximately 1 Gbps and scalable to approximately 3 Gbps. Service will be delivered via a requested fiber handoff to Austin High School and must include approximately 50 public IPv4 addresses, with pricing for additional IPv4 addresses and optional IPv6 equivalents. Proposals should describe the service pathway, any third-party leased lines, provider-owned handoff equipment, resiliency, firewall and DDoS options, and CIPA-compliant filtering options. Respondents must provide laddered pricing by 1 Gbps increments, separate eligible and ineligible costs, identify recurring and nonrecurring charges, and submit a proposed SLA covering 99.99% network availability, performance metrics, 24/7/365 support, two-hour diagnosis, four-hour temporary or permanent repair, chronic-outage remedies, and service reporting. The requested contract term is three years with up to two optional one-year extensions, contingent on funding. Responses must include a service description and construction timeline, complete pricing, proposed SLA, three similar-service references, an E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract.
