Description
The City of La Verne is soliciting electronic bids for a complete audiovisual system upgrade at its Emergency Operations Center. The scope includes furnishing and installing video displays, a video wall, audio equipment, microphones, audiovisual control and signal distribution equipment, network and AV infrastructure, and related cabling and hardware. The contractor must program, integrate, configure, test, calibrate, commission, and train City staff on the completed system, and provide system documentation and as-built information. Additive alternates cover an interactive display and collaboration system and a microphone and conferencing system. This is a federally funded public works project subject to Build America, Buy America Act requirements. Bidders must be registered with SAM.gov, hold the required C-7 or C-10 contractor license, comply with California prevailing-wage and Department of Industrial Relations requirements, and perform at least 50% of the contract value with their own forces. The engineer's estimate is $190,000. The project must be completed within 30 working days after the Notice to Proceed, with construction activities commencing by January 11, 2027.
