Description
Mohawk Medbuy Corporation, on behalf of participating healthcare organizations, is seeking one or more providers for a turnkey personal protective equipment recycling program. The required services include program design and implementation, site assessments, collection containers and accessories, scheduled and on-demand pickup, transportation, sorting, processing, recycling, contamination management, regulatory compliance, customer support, and ongoing improvement. The program must accept mixed streams of procedure and N95 masks, isolation and procedure gowns, exam and surgical gloves, face shields, surgical caps and head coverings, shoe and boot covers, sterilization wrap, and other approved PPE materials. Proponents must provide reporting and traceability from collection through final disposition, including quantities collected, recycled, recovered, rejected, diversion and recovery rates, environmental metrics where available, and identification of downstream processing partners and end markets. Pricing schedules cover service delivery and containers/accessories, with pricing intended to remain firm for the initial three-year term. Optional offerings may include recycling of expired or unused PPE, pilot programs, enhanced sustainability analytics, and additional recyclable materials.
