Description
The NATO International Staff is soliciting construction services for an approximately 26-by-10-meter outdoor multipurpose platform intended for running, fitness, outdoor training, and future placement of containers or equipment. The scope includes site preparation, excavation, compaction, concrete or permeable-paver construction, drainage-channel work, water management, access-chamber modifications, electrical conduits without cabling, level and slope control, cleaning, and reinstatement of surrounding areas. Bidders must price and compare three technically suitable solutions: a reinforced concrete slab, permeable concrete, and permeable concrete pavers or klinkers, and recommend one. The offer must address load-bearing capacity for a 4,000-kilogram container distributed over four feet, future sports surfacing compatibility, drainage, durability, maintenance, construction methodology, schedule, and site constraints. The final sports surfacing, containers, fitness equipment, electrical cabling, and landscaping outside the designated area are excluded. Separately priced options cover tree-root removal and high-pressure cleaning, and an alternative covers complete replacement of the existing drainage channel.
