Description
The Matanuska-Susitna Borough is soliciting bids for one new and unused Bobcat skid steer loader with a minimum 105 horsepower rating, or an approved equivalent. The loader must meet detailed equipment requirements, including high-flow auxiliary hydraulics, two-speed travel, rear-view camera, backup alarm, enclosed HVAC cab, heated seat, LED lighting, ROPS/FOPS protection, an 86-inch severe-duty bucket, and multiple equipment and attachment kits. It must support specified buckets, forks, augers, grapples, brush cutters, blades, forestry cutters, an angle boom, and a snow blower through hydraulic and 7-pin electrical couplers. The selected vendor must deliver the equipment in ready-to-use condition to the Central Landfill, provide a minimum two-year full warranty, detailed operating documentation, delivery training, and local parts availability. The vendor must also have an authorized warranty and service dealer within 60 miles of the landfill, with factory-certified personnel and the ability to perform warranty, routine service, and repair work. Bids must include the completed bid form and descriptive literature sufficient to establish technical compliance; the award is expected to go to the lowest qualified, responsive, and responsible bidder.
