The California Department of Transportation is soliciting recurring janitorial services for its District 04 Construction Office. The contractor must provide all labor, tools, cleaning supplies, consumables, equipment, restroom and kitchen paper products, trash liners, and light bulbs or fluorescent tubes necessary to maintain the approximately 1,500-square-foot office, which includes restrooms, a kitchen, offices, conference areas, hallways, and lobby space. Services include cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and kitchen areas, vacuuming and mopping floors, carpet care, dusting and polishing, waste removal and recycling, window cleaning, semi-monthly chair vacuuming, and semi-annual tile stripping, waxing, machine scrubbing, and refinishing. The contractor must be registered with California's Labor Commissioner's Office for janitorial services, provide employee wages and benefits or permitted cash equivalents, comply with specified environmental and recycling requirements, and perform the work without subcontracting. The agreement is estimated to run from October 1, 2026, through September 30, 2029, subject to approval and execution.
