Description
Montgomery County seeks a contractor for an ongoing, firm-fixed-price requirements contract covering labor and materials for maintenance, new construction, rehabilitation, and safety improvements to concrete curbs and gutters, sidewalks, ADA ramps, driveway aprons, and related work. Task orders will define the locations, scope, and quantities; estimated quantities are not guaranteed. The bid requires pricing for every applicable quotation-sheet item. The scope includes removal and replacement or installation of concrete curb, gutter, sidewalks, ramps, and driveway aprons, as well as related roadway, storm-drain, traffic-control, and restoration work. Bidders must provide at least three similar-work references, an experience and equipment certification, bid security, and the required bid and contract award page and quotation sheets. The selected contractor must perform at least 50% of actual construction work with its own employees. The contract has a one-year initial term and may be renewed for two additional one-year periods. The solicitation is restricted to businesses with an LSBRP application submitted or certification on file by the bid deadline.
