Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is conducting market research for an A/E firm to assess structural deficiencies associated with the Building 8 roof deck at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center. The assessment must identify where and how safety netting should be installed and provide an estimated cost for the netting. No construction-period services are associated with this project; any resulting construction work would be procured separately. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for quotes or proposals. Interested firms must be registered in SAM.gov under NAICS 541330, qualify as Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and be registered in the SBA veteran certification registry by the response date. Respondents must submit a capability statement of no more than 10 pages addressing company information, interest in bidding, capability and one to three comparable completed projects from the past five years, veteran-owned-business certification, socioeconomic status, and the percentage of labor they can self-perform. The stated period of performance is 100 calendar days.
