Description
Shelby County Schools is soliciting bids for 14 insulated single-door hot boxes and 25 insulated pass-through hot boxes. The attached manufacturer specifications identify Vulcan VBP-series holding and transport cabinets and Vulcan VPT-series pass-through holding cabinets, with insulated construction, casters, adjustable tray slides or shelving, electronic temperature controls up to 190°F, and 120-volt electrical configurations. The pass-through cabinets accommodate specified 12-by-20-inch pans and 18-by-26-inch sheet pans. The equipment must be delivered complete and ready for use. Bidders must provide fixed unit prices for all items on the official Bid Form and may not submit alternative prices for an item. Any deviations from the specifications must be identified in a written attachment. The bid package requires certifications and supporting submissions, including non-collusion, debarment, anti-bribery, non-discrimination, applicable state certifications, and proof of insurance. The bid term and firm pricing may not exceed one year. Qualifying local businesses in Shelby County, Tennessee may receive a five-percent evaluation preference for qualifying purchases over $25,000, subject to stated exceptions.
