Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking capable sources for a potential firm-fixed-price service maintenance contract covering the Synaptive Modus X robotic microscope, BrightMatter Plan, BrightMatter Guide, and ImageDrive systems installed at the Portland VA Medical Center. The scope includes clinical case support, 24/7 telephone troubleshooting, on-site support when remote troubleshooting is unsuccessful, parts, labor, travel, preventive maintenance, software health checks, and periodic software reliability updates. The contractor must maintain product uptime above 95%, provide two preventive maintenance procedures and two software health checks per contract year, and support applicable HIPAA, HITECH, privacy, facility-access, and background-investigation requirements. Non-manufacturers must be authorized representatives, providers, or distributors and must provide proof of authorization; equipment must be new, with no used or refurbished equipment accepted. This is a sources sought notice and not a request for quotation or an award opportunity. Interested businesses must submit a capability statement identifying their ability to provide product maintenance and/or clinical case support.
