Description
Hillsboro School District 1J is seeking proposals for two E-Rate-eligible Category 1 data transport solutions: a fully managed leased lit fiber service with dedicated symmetrical 100 Gbps bandwidth, scalable to 400 Gbps, and a leased dark fiber service providing two single-mode fiber strands with fiber maintenance included. Proposers may respond to one or both options. Services must meet specified service-level requirements, including network availability, packet-loss, latency, jitter, outage response, and restoration commitments. The proposal must include pricing for recurring, non-recurring, special-construction, taxes, and other fees; the completed Cost Proposal Form; a service implementation timeline; technical specifications and testing procedures; demarcation details; lowest corresponding pricing; and required reference information. Optional separately priced light-modulating equipment may also be proposed. The selected provider must maintain E-Rate/USAC compliance and a valid SPIN. The initial service term is one year beginning July 1, 2027, with two optional one-year voluntary extensions; extensions are not automatic.
