The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division is conducting market research for the manufacture and delivery of Main Rotor Spindle Pry Bars (P/N SPB-60-RS, NSN 3040-01-722-4706) in support of the MH-60R program. The tools are intended for use by the Royal Australian Navy, the Danish Defense Acquisition and Logistics Organization, and the Indian Navy. They attach to the spindle damper mount and provide leverage and stability to manipulate the main rotor spindle assembly, including for access to spindle mount bolts and removal or reinstallation of the pitch control rod. This is a Sources Sought notice, not a request for proposal or competitive solicitation. Interested parties may submit a capabilities statement for the Government’s market research; the notice identifies EAA Tools, LLC as the original equipment manufacturer and sole designer, developer, and manufacturer. No telephone responses will be accepted.
