Description
The City of Sugar Land is soliciting bids from one or more vendors to furnish and deliver new fire-hydrant parts and supplies for repairs. The bid covers parts for multiple hydrant models, including Mueller Super Centurion, American Darling, Clow Medallion, East Jordan WaterMaster, Kennedy Guardian, American AVK, and U.S. Pipe hydrants. Items include hydrants, valves, stems, nozzles, nozzle caps, seat rings, valve plates, collision or breakaway kits, extension kits, and other listed components. Bidders must provide unit pricing for the listed items and a percentage discount for other parts and items. Orders will be placed as needed to maintain inventory, with estimated quantities provided for comparison only. Normal stock orders must be delivered within seven business days, and supplied parts must be new, current-design products meeting or exceeding the applicable original-equipment quality, except where rebuilt or remanufactured parts are expressly permitted. The initial contract term is one year, with four additional one-year renewal options. Prices are firm for the initial one-year period, subject to the stated adjustment provisions. Required bid forms include the Bidder Certification and Addenda Acknowledgment, Bidder Information, Bidder Customer/Client References, Conflict of Interest Questionnaire, Certification Regarding Debarment, House Bill 89 Verification Form, Senate Bill 13 Verification Form, and Senate Bill 19 Verification Form.
