Description
The Jackson County Utility Authority is soliciting bids for the rehabilitation and capacity improvements of Pump Station 20, also identified as Highway 63 Regional Pump Station No. 20. The procurement categories include chain-link fencing, stainless-steel pipe, sewage pump equipment, construction demolition, and heavy sewer construction services. Bids may be submitted in a sealed envelope by mail or hand delivery, or electronically through Central Bidding. Electronic bids must be submitted in PDF format and include the same information and forms required for paper bids. A bid bond equal to 5% of the total bid is required, and bidders must provide a Certificate of Responsibility number or a statement that the bid does not exceed $50,000. Minority- and women-owned businesses are solicited and encouraged to participate as prime contractors or subcontractors. The project is expected to be funded in whole or in part through Mississippi's Water Pollution Control Revolving Loan Fund program.
