Description
NAVFAC Atlantic intends to award a sole-source, one-year contract to the National Fire Protection Association, Inc. for four comprehensive 24-hour virtual training courses based on NFPA 70 (2026), the National Electrical Code. The training will cover understanding, interpreting, implementing, and enforcing NFPA 70 design and construction requirements for safety. Each course will be delivered over three consecutive eight-hour days, with scheduling that accommodates Eastern, Pacific, and Hawaii Standard time zones. Classes will be limited to 30 students and must be accessible through Microsoft Teams. Deliverables include one student manual and one copy of the 2026 edition of the NFPA 70 Codebook and Handbook for each course. The notice states that this is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations; interested parties may submit a written statement of capabilities to determine whether competition is warranted.
