Description
The City seeks a contractor to reconstruct nine alleys and perform associated wastewater improvements. The work includes approximately 9,600 square yards of concrete alley pavement, sidewalk and driveway work, and sanitary sewer construction, along with related items such as fencing, retaining walls, traffic control, erosion control, and restoration. The bid schedule includes detailed unit-price items for pavement, sewer pipe and services, manholes, cleanouts, and related construction work. Bids must include completed pricing for every line item, a completed Bidder’s Qualification Statement, and a bid bond of at least 5% of the maximum bid price. The bid is submitted electronically through the City’s procurement portal; a hard copy is optional. The targeted project budget is $4.5 million to $5 million, and the stated construction duration is 180 working days. Payment and performance bonds, plus a maintenance bond, are required after award.
