Description
North County Transit District, operating as North County Transit - San Diego Railroad, is soliciting bids for on-call removal, disposal, surface repair, furnishing, and installation of bus stop furniture throughout North San Diego County. The work includes a one-time replacement of 74 furniture units at Oceanside Transit Center and as-needed replacements averaging approximately 40 furniture units annually. The required products include corrosion-resistant, hot-dipped galvanized perforated metal no-back benches in 48-, 72-, and 96-inch lengths, plus 36-gallon outdoor metal slatted trash receptacles with liners. The contractor must provide labor, equipment, transportation, site protection, debris disposal, level installation on sloped surfaces, approvals for product data and shop drawings, prevailing-wage labor, required licensing, safety compliance, and warranties. The contract has a three-year base term with two one-year options, and the initial 74-unit installation must be completed within 90 calendar days after the Notice to Proceed.
