Description
Greater Clark County Community Schools is soliciting proposals for managed Internet access and wide area network services under FCC Form 470 #270002000. The district seeks symmetrical Internet bandwidth beginning at 2 Gbps and scalable to 10 Gbps, with guaranteed throughput, laddered pricing, approximately 100 public IPv4 addresses, optional IPv6 pricing, and fiber handoff at the head-end. Respondents may also describe optional resiliency, basic firewall, and DDoS protection features. For the WAN, the district seeks fully managed, leased lit connectivity between Jeffersonville High School and River Ridge Middle School and Founders Point Elementary School, with pricing for 1, 2, 5, and 10 Gbps service tiers and the ability to change service levels during the contract. Proposals must address network topology, handoffs, provider-owned equipment, service-level commitments including 99.99% availability, latency, jitter, packet loss, 24/7/365 support, repair times, reporting, and any installation or special-construction costs. Responses must include detailed recurring and nonrecurring pricing, a proposed SLA, three similar reference sites, the provider's E-Rate SPIN number, and a ready-to-execute or sample contract. The anticipated term is three years with two optional voluntary extensions, beginning July 1, 2027, subject to E-Rate funding.
