Description
Port Freeport is soliciting proposals for a complete Emergency Operations Center generator replacement at its facility. The selected contractor must furnish a minimum 174 kW dual-fuel generator capable of operating on natural gas and propane, with a quiet enclosure, marine-grade corrosion-resistant construction, integrated fuel monitoring, remote monitoring controls, built-in diagnostics, and compliance with applicable EPA and NFPA 110 requirements. Preferred manufacturers are Caterpillar, Cummins, or Kohler, or an equivalent manufacturer. The scope includes removal and disposal of the existing generator; installation, configuration, integration, testing, commissioning, and performance verification of the replacement system; required labor, equipment, software, licenses, and ancillary materials; operator training; and one year of warranty coverage. Proposers must provide itemized hardware, software, installation, maintenance, and optional service costs, a project schedule, three customer references, five relevant installation examples, proof of certifications and qualifications, a certificate of insurance, and the required proposal forms and compliance documentation. A platform extension is identified as an optional scope item, and optional extended warranties, service packages, and monitoring upgrades should be priced separately.
