Description
This contract/purchase order requires the manufacture of a VERTICAL DRIVE DEV, adhering to specific design representations identified by Cage Code 71871 and reference number 8708732 80. The item must be marked in accordance with MIL-STD-130, REV N. Any changes to the design, material, servicing, or part number require written approval from the Contracting Officer, with specific codes (1-6) to denote the nature of the change. The contractor is responsible for all inspection requirements, maintaining complete inspection records for 365 days after final delivery. Preservation, packaging, packing, and marking must follow MIL-STD-2073. The solicitation is issued under SEPA-EAF Authority and is a high-priority US Navy requirement related to breakdown of mission-essential equipment, demanding absolute best delivery. Award evaluations will be made using the Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) criteria.
