Description
The Federal Railroad Administration is offering one discretionary transportation grant of up to $56,000,000 to the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority for construction of approximately six miles of new fourth track on the CSX Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Potomac Subdivision, primarily on the east side of the right-of-way. The project supports passenger rail infrastructure between Arlington and Alexandria, Virginia. Cost sharing or matching is required. Eligibility is restricted to the Virginia Passenger Rail Authority, and no application documents are currently available in the provided materials. Applications are directed through Grants.gov.
