Description
The City of Spartanburg is soliciting sealed bids for the Greenville Branch Park Phase 1 Stream Stabilization Project. The work includes excavation; streambank and slope stabilization; geocell reinforcement; rock toes; boulder toes and reinforced slopes; cross vanes, J-hooks, and boulder riffles; Class B/C riprap; and related instream construction. Concrete and debris may be buried onsite or used as a concealed base for instream structures when permitted by the approved scope. Headwall veneer is excluded from the project. The successful contractor must hold a valid Grading License, mobilize within one week of the Notice to Proceed, and complete the work within the required project timeframe, with an expected completion date of April 15, 2027. Bidders must provide contractor references and at least three verifiable references, insurance information for review, an executed corporate/company resolution, a signed Affidavit of NonCollusion, good-faith documentation, a completed bid tab, a bid bond, a proposed completion date, and a subcontractor list unless all work will be self-performed. A 15% City M/WBE good-faith participation goal applies. The awarded contractor must furnish a 100% corporate surety performance bond.
