Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to award a sole-source, firm-fixed-price contract for one trained On-Site Contractor Representative to support Par Excellence Weight-Based Point-of-Use inventory systems at the New Orleans VA Medical Center and associated community clinics and health care centers. The representative will provide full lifecycle support, including daily system monitoring, troubleshooting bin and scale units, physical inventory handling, item registration and deregistration, inventory accuracy validation, system maintenance, macro verification, discrepancy analysis, storage optimization, and coordination with VA Supply Chain personnel, the Par Excellence helpdesk, and OI&T. The scope also includes training secondary personnel, supporting system implementations and expansions, managing SKU replacements and recall-related deregistration, maintaining weekly communications and operational reports, and producing training, discrepancy, error-analysis, and project-activity documentation. The contractor must provide the tools necessary for performance, including a mobile troubleshooting station, and comply with VA privacy, security, and facility-access requirements. The PWS states one base year with four option years.
