Description
The project involves stabilizing streambanks and restoring channel flow through clearing and shaping designated channel areas, installing gabions and gabion mattresses, and constructing a steel rail wall using railroad rail piling and guardrail lagging. Work also includes rock riprap, drainfill, grouting, seeding and mulching, traffic control, pollution control, and related construction quality-control activities. The plans identify three work areas, with approximately 120 linear feet of gabion stabilization, 36 linear feet of steel rail wall, and 300 linear feet of channel clearing. Bids are priced by unit, with the cost bid entered in the online portal.
