Description
Lincoln Public Schools is soliciting proposals for FY2027 E-Rate-eligible Category Two Managed Internal Broadband Services and Basic Maintenance of Internal Connections. The scope covers management, monitoring, configuration management, firmware and software updates, WLAN management, security policy administration, reporting, performance optimization, incident response, documentation, help desk support, and escalation for 184 applicant-owned wireless access points across seven school locations. The inventory consists of 19 Ruckus R550 and 165 Ruckus R510 access points. Proposals may include equivalent solutions if equivalency is demonstrated, but equipment-only pricing is not acceptable. Respondents must provide itemized pricing, extended totals, eligible and ineligible allocations, recurring and nonrecurring charges, labor rates, licensing costs, maintenance fees, taxes, fees, and surcharges. The district requests 12-, 36-, and 60-month pricing options and states that the initial contract term is expected to run from July 1, 2027, through June 30, 2028. Mandatory proposal components include applicant and Form 470 information, the service provider name and SPIN, contact information, terms and conditions, and a completed pricing worksheet. Additional E-Rate, supply-chain, debarment, FCC Red Light Rule, and conflict-of-interest certifications are encouraged and may affect scoring. The cost of eligible products and services is the highest-weighted evaluation factor.
