Description
The Defense Logistics Agency is requesting a quotation for two lead-acid, wet-charged storage batteries, NSN 6140-01-457-4279, part number 26-4394-2, manufactured by Continental Battery Company. Delivery is required within five days after delivery-order issuance, FOB destination, with destination inspection and acceptance. The batteries must meet DLA packaging, marking, hazardous-material communication, physical-identification, and shelf-life requirements. The solicitation specifies a six-month, non-extendable Type I shelf life, MIL-STD-2073-1E packaging, MIL-STD-129 marking, and delivery to the designated military facility in Lubbock, Texas.
