Description
Tri-Dam Project is soliciting proposals for a complete static excitation replacement system for the Sandbar Powerhouse. The scope includes design, manufacture, delivery, installation, factory and site acceptance testing, commissioning support, and training for operators and maintenance personnel. The system includes digital excitation controls, an excitation power potential transformer, field-flashing and discharge circuits, control switches, HMI screens, cabinets, and associated equipment, with optional redundant controls, N+1 thyristor bridges, and panel-mount replacement. Addendum #1 requires bidders to include 1 ms sampling for both the SPE and data logger. Addendum #2 permits vendors to bid options for rotating brushless excitation solutions, and updated attachments and drawings have been added. The solicitation package includes the Sandbar Exciter IFB Package and drawing attachments.
