Description
The Borough of Honesdale is soliciting a general contractor for a public trail and park access development project. The revised scope includes four asphalt trail sections with geotextile fabric, base stone, binder, and asphalt pavement; demolition and site preparation; rough and finish grading; temporary erosion and sediment control measures; drainage improvements; concrete pads; tree plantings; seeding and mulching; and off-haul of debris and excess spoils to an approved site. The contractor must also furnish and install or relocate kiosks, park signs, aluminum fencing, removable bollards, benches and bench pads, a flagpole and base, trash receptacles, picnic tables, and related park amenities. The work includes concrete repairs to an existing bridge trellis and installation of steel fencing and picnic tables on the trellis. Addendum 1 revised the bid documents and bid form, including bid items 16–22; Addendum 2 revised the plan drawings and removed structural drawing sheet S101 from the plan set. Bidders must comply with Pennsylvania prevailing-wage requirements, applicable environmental and accessibility standards, and MBE/WBE participation and documentation requirements. The contract documents require completion within 150 calendar days after the notice to proceed.
