The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) is hosting an in-person Proposers Day to introduce the Protein Palace program, which seeks research and development approaches for a generalizable platform that can purify a wide range of proteins with high specificity, purity, and yield. The event will include program presentations, networking and teaming opportunities, a poster session, and optional one-on-one breakout sessions with the program manager. Attendance is voluntary and is not required to submit to any future solicitation; this notice is not a request for proposals. The program anticipates two phases: a 24-month Phase 1 to demonstrate tunable purification across eight proteins, followed by an 18-month Phase 2 focused on scaling throughput and purifying two additional difficult-to-purify proteins. Registration is required to attend, and the notice specifies registration and attendee documentation requirements. The event is unclassified; attendees must present government-issued photo identification.
