Description
Gainesville Regional Utilities is conducting an Invitation to Negotiate for the acquisition, ownership, operation, maintenance, repair, replacement, regulatory compliance, customer service, and eventual transfer responsibilities associated with the Cross Creek Mobile Home Park water and wastewater systems. The systems serve approximately 50 connections and include groundwater wells, chlorination and storage facilities, water distribution infrastructure, wastewater collection and pumping facilities, an 8,000-gallon septic tank, force main, and drainfield assets. The wastewater drainfield is currently nonfunctional, so wastewater is being hauled by tanker truck to Gainesville's wastewater system. Respondents must demonstrate experience owning or operating comparable water and wastewater systems, financial capacity to acquire and sustain the systems, regulatory compliance capability, emergency response resources, a transition plan, proposed capital investments, operational commitments, economic terms, and references. The response is limited to 34 pages, with section-specific page limits, and must include a proposal, any clarifications or exceptions, and additional required submittals through the designated electronic procurement portal.
